I don't have a birth certificate for similar reasons. Fortunately, my parents somehow had a Baptism certificate. I wrote a letter explaining. Everything was fine.

Can't the new employer sponsor him for a new work permit? There is nothing that says he can't have two.

I think you can do the medical now. It's good for a year and the processing time is 4-6 months. So having it done doesn't hurt.

I have a similar timeline to both of you. It's coming soon. It updated on ECAS first, then we got the e-mail for PPR. I know it's hard and the anxiety builds up, but once it's all done, it's great. :-)

Hi Everyone, I got COPR. Tried making an appt to land, but it seemed so arbitrary. Out of the 3 bridges at Niagra Falls, anyone know which would be faster? Any advice?
