Just a quick update: My wife got her VISA by DHL this morning, so officially she has her VISA on her passport in her hands now 8) it took only 3 days to receive it after DM. Flying to Canada on August 10 and landing in Montreal on August 11 at 7h00am, much excited now, can't wait to hug her...

I was checking different old 2011 spreadsheets on the forum, and it seems that last year, most applicants got their VISA after 2 months average after PPR. Is it me or now it's longer than before? seems like lots applicants who sent their passport at the embassy do not got their VISA as quick...

When my wife sent her application back in Dec 2011, she never travelled outside the country before. I was approved as her sponsor in February and our application was transferred to the embassy in Feb 2012. The same month, i had to go to Singapore for a week for my work. My wife met me there also...
