I also live in Whitby, I went in process on June 15 and received my invitation to take my test on July 9th. I write my test August 1. It was a really quick turnaround so far for me. I hope that gives you an idea of a recent timeline.

You are updated. Congrats!!!! :) As for the card, you will get a PR card (Permanent Resident card) but it will take about 8 weeks to arrive. That is why you had to send pictures in with your application, they will use those pictures to put on your card.

Hiya, I hired an attorney and my COPR came to my American mailing address. I had contacted CIC before-hand asking them to send it to my address in the USA instead of the lawyer. You might want to email CIC and do the same thing to be safe. Hope that helps!!
