If a person has a dream then by all means they should follow that dream but the reality would be finding a college first to provide an offer given she did not complete post secondary and then there are the fees where proof of funding at least for first year is required, approximately 18000 CDN course fee and 10000 CDN living.

After that in applying for a study permit the course has to be relevant both to current qualifications, previous work experience and future prospects on returning to home country.

Before going through all above maybe the cousin needs to visit first to get a reality check although even getting a visit visa has many conditions that need to be met.

As said if someone is really determined enough anything is possible and nobody here can predict anything but will not be an easy path , rejection may be the only outcome.
That is why I’m worried. But for now, all I can do is to help her prepare for her IELTS. Thank you once again.

Age is not a problem as long as you can present a good case why you should need to study in Canada.

Can a 43 yrs old( Indian) canada pr study in canada?
Yes. Anyone can get a study permit if they have the finances and can show that the degree makes sense based on previous education and work history and it will lead to career advancement. You still have to qualify to immigrate if that is your goal. Your age will make it more difficult.

Are you a CPA? Of course you can apply for any course as long as you have the prerequisites and the ability to pay for the courses. Getting an accountant position at a bank may be challenging. Getting banking jobs or jobs at large accounting firms are very competitive. Would all depend on your previous experience

Finance jobs are competitive in general because they tend to have good salaries. Many immigrants arrive after working in the finance industry in their home country or another country plus their are lots of Canadian applicants but only so many jobs. Canada is a relatively small country with a relatively small finance industry. Would broaden your search area when in comes to jobs and where you are willing to leave live in Canada and have realistic expectations.

Bookkeeper is different than an accountant. You will likely be looking at smaller companies or setting up your own business and and doing the books for various clients who are usually small businesses. That is if you get immigration.
