10 months waiting ! no oath invitation (Calgary)

hello guys!
I did my test back in Dec 2017 and till now; I have never being called back for the oath.
I am in Calgary and I am wondering if anyone has experienced this.
I am still not understand what is going on.
10 months!!!!!
Someone just left your file (your life) in his office may be in another piles of documentd and forget about.what can I do?
any advices??

When did you apply for your citizenship grant?
Have you applied for your ATIP notes to see where your file is stuck? (i.e. have you passed the security and prohibition checks?)
Have you ever been refused for any US visas in the past?

A number of people are experiencing this situation. Most probably they are performing an extended security check. This is assumed to be related to the applicants' country of origin. Also if any of your US visas has been refused any time in the past, this raises a flag. They request from the US for the rejection reason - and usually they do not respond any time soon.

In my own personal experience, the IRCC/Calgary office has been truly excellent and exemplary in terms of their gumption, initiative, timeliness, and rapid efficient service; them even having taken the time to phone me unbidden and out-of-the-blue about my application. So, as others have surmised above, it sounds as though there might well be something in their take on your background which has raised a red flag of some kind.

received a letter for digital fingerprint. Did and received january 2018.
status: in process till today.
fill up the online requirement to find out if there is any issues.got a reply from Immigration (mail) stating that everything is OK and application still in process.

they replied that everything is OK.application is just in process.

Oh wow, yours is strange cos the Calgary office appears to be really efficient. Well your application has exceeded the 12 months window, you should call IRCC and ask that it be expedited.

I have been waiting for so ling.Have a very good overseas job that is waiting for me for the past 6 months and you need to be a canadian citizen to get it.
A job that would change my life; but someone has your file seating in his desk with no rush and living his everyday life without no problem but on the other hand; your seating fike in his desk should have change your life.

Just experienced a very sad situatiin last week.One of my friend went back home and got married.came backnto canada and apply for a permanent resident for his wife.waited and waited for over a year and last Thursday; he got a call that his wife died back home.too painful experience

I am sorry to hear that . Unfortunately that is bad situation. I call them right now and told them I almost passed 14 month ,but nothing new . Just said we can not saying how long does it take . You have o wait

No one knows what can change someone's life. Even snoozing alarm for 10 mins can change your entire path of the life. People only expect but no one knows which track will take you where. Life is more important than canadian citizenship and residency. If your friend's wife's immigration was taking forever. His other option would be to go back to wife and live together.
There are many people here mention about their father's gravely illness but waiting for citizenship. Cmon, go see your father. Citizenship is nothing compared to that.
Many refugee can't go back home because their life is in danger but as soon as they receive citizenship, their life back home become safe heaven. I guess the terrorist ho was trying to kill that person, frequently check his ecas and once it says complete, they decide not to bother that person anymore. lol.
