Just completed the oath taking ceremony at Glen Erin Drive in Mississauga. Fire alarm almost ruined the event, but in the end it was all good. Judge had a posh British accent. Thanks guys for all the support

Test was at Scarborough on September 5th. File was sent back to Mississauga laal week for oath.

First off, there are no seniors here. Secondly, you are not required to submit any original documents, you send in photocopies and bring the original documents to your interview.

When you say you haven't heard anything back yet, it doesn't give us much to go by. What is your application status on ECAS? have they acknowledged receipt? is it in progress? have you had your test done yet?

Like i said, i went through that page before posting. I should have been clearer about the fact that i was searching for "New citizenship applications", while all the IRCC links point to completed applications.

I actually checked that data before posting here. I didn't see the information for "Citizenship application", just that of "permanent residents". And you have to keep in mind that not all PRs go on to apply for citizenship. i am still searching for how many new applications they receive...

This figure is meaningless without context. How many new applications does IRCC receive for citizenship yearly? if they only receive a hundred thousand and now they get 500 thousand. that's a phenomenal increase. if they receive 300 thousand and now they get 500 thousand. well that's big, but...
