Awesome information. Thanks a lot for sharing. Wish i had this information before ITA so that i could have jump started the PCC process!
Quick queries:

1. Is it 60 days or 90 days to submit PR application electronically ?
2. I don't see a submit button after i filled in the application(Post ITA) and clicked continue. All i see is the documents check list and upload buttons. Will the submit button populate only after i upload all the documens?

Thanks,
Yes and it will be "Next"

An open question. I have my spouse's WES ECA evaluated to Bachelors equivalent. I am presuming I will need to upload at least the Bachelors certificate. However, in the certificate, my spouse's last name is abbreviated to just the initial letter of the last name(ex. Instead of John Doe it says John D.)

Would I need to, then in the forms where spouse's details are entered in, say that spouse has used another name, and have a sworn affidavit signed by my spouse attached?

Anybody with this experience?

I have an almost similar issue but mine is a typo error. I explained it in my letter of explanation and attached other certs from the school with my correct name.

Guys, have you received any specific letter about the medical? Any one of you know what I have to bring for medical exam? I do not have any IME number neither any form provided or sent by the cic. Please comment. Thanks!

Find the clinic / panel physician right for you, call them/him, make an appointment. you do not need IMEs or any specific docs for upfront med. exams (at least it was the case for me), my doctor asked me just to bring the ITA letter I received.

Did you get an affidavit for same person different name ?
No I didn't because it was just a one letter typo mistake which hasn't affected me in any ways. But for a fundamental name change like in your case, I would advise an affidavit to back up. Just my opinion though

Hello, Earlier(2 weeks back), post-ITA, i updated all the sections and clicked continue. I got the documents checklist page.
Today when i logged in, i dont see the documents checklist page. Infact, my workhistory section is shown as incomplete and there is a new section called 'reference'.
Did anyone had similar experience?

i am also in same boat and the abbreviation issue happens to be with me rather than my spouse. Did you get any more info on how to proceed?
