Hi Legalfalcon.....
Could you please provide some insights for my case!
In the online profile under
Review of additional documents (section) : It says "The additional documents you provided are being reviewed." It change today from "The additional document you provided is uploaded"..... to being reviewed..

I had uploaded IMM5476 (Use of Representative form as they asked me to upload) + also I had informed IRCC via webform about my change in job. I had uploaded "Acceptance of resignation letter" of my previous job and Offer letter for the new job.

Which document do you think is being reviewed now and what might be the consequences after review of additional document. I am a little bit concerned as BG changed to IP on 19 May and I have seen people getting PPR today after BG changed to IP on June 2...... Pls Suggest!!!!

Also Do you think have travel history might delay the final result as I have been to various European country and Canada plus India and China as well.

The day you upload your application, the application is locked. So you don't have to inform IRCC of change of job, or resigning from previous job. The only time you have to inform IRCC is when your family composition changes or when you change your address. The document being reviewed is the Use of Representative form, which does not have much significance.

As regards BGC, travel history does make a difference, but it depends more on which countries you have visited. All applications are different and have different processing times. Just because someone else got a PPR, does not mean that there is something wrong with your application. Have you ordered GCMS?

Hello Legal falcon,

I am the PA and my spouse sent me the POF but his account was credited by family. So what do I need to show now as POF because I thought I could avoid including my spouse's statement of account as this would show that family sent him the POF.

If the funds came from family, you will need to have a gift deed.

Kindly reply to my 3 queries below:

Hi, my PoF letter is 2 weeks old now and I have not yet filed my ePR. I will submit ePR in 3-4 days time. Do i need to get a new letter from my bank of a 2-3 week old letter for PoF will suffice.

I have a bachelors degree and a masters degree and got them evaluated from WES.
WES has given equivalency for 2 bachelors degrees (Masters degree is a part time degree from IGNOU-that can be a reason for Master to be credited as bachelors degree by WES). Accordingly, I have claimed points for 2 or more Bachelor degrees. However, in the education details column which is to be updated manually, I have mentioned the masters degree as masters only. Hope this is ok.

I have lived at this permanent address since birth and mentioned the same in PR Application. However, I went to a different city do my engineering for 4 years (that was in year 1994-1998). There is a column in the PR Application, - "Living at this address since". Is is ok to mention that I have been living at this permanent address since birth. I am getting a PCC from PSK in Delhi. I have asked this question before, however not received any particular reply on this.

Thank you I will do that, is it ok that the funds was sent from a company account? Or would I need anything extra to add apart from the gift deed
No issues with where the funds came from as long as you you have a gift deed.

No need to get a new letter. 2-3 weeks, or even 2-3 months old letter would suffice.

This is fine.

You will have to mention all addressed where you have lived.

Address 1 - Living since birth to 1994
Address 2 - 1994-1998 -
Address 3 - same as 1.

Hello legalfalcon,

I hope you can help me on my situation...

We have applied for saskatchewan provincial nominee OID (Paperbase application) and got nominated and we have submitted our application in Jan 2017 and Current status of this application is received 2nd AOR and file has been transferred NDVO. for this my wife is Primary applicant and Myself as dependent, In Schedule A for my personal history section for past 10 years we have mentioned as unemployed but i am working. As during that time we could get the reference letter for employment. Recently in May 2017 we got FSW ITA and for this Primary Applicant is me and my wife is dependent. and we are planning to choose FSW option to fulfill our dreams to canada.. Would there will be any problem as we have mention wrong information in personal history section. during filling the post ITA there is section where they will ask if we have applied previously to any of the programs like Visit, WP etc visa's...

Address 3 - same as 1.
Thanks legalfalcon, I will change it accordingly.
Regarding PoF, I read somewhere that bank letter specifically should not be more than 2 weeks old which got me confused.

Not true. There is no time frame for that, except that they should not be too old. As long as they have a 6 month balance, or a document to cover that, it is fine.

I don't understand your question. Are you claiming points for the job?

Hi Legalfalcon,

One of my friend recently received his passport request but his passport is expiring in August. Since he is already in Canada should he just go ahead and send his passport?

Hi Legalfalcon!
I have a quick question. My husband is a seasonal worker in Canada. When I was filling out my EE profile I had mentioned that as his work experience but didn't get any points for it. Can I remove it and leave his work experience blank and just mention it in personal history? N.B. I haven't received ITA as yet.

Unfortunately no. The only time IRCC will release the GCMS notes early is if there is a deportation proceeding or a litigation going on, which involves the immigration application. Some application take much longer too.

If its been over 30 days, ask GET GCMS team to inquire about the status of your request.
Hi legalfalcon, i m not getting any revert from getgcm team. So Can i inquire myself to cic about my notes? If yes dn how can i reach to them? I hv tracking number, issued by them.i
