I want some information about education. After plus 2 in India , does a diploma of 3 years count for immigration? For example diploma in hotel management for 3 years. If documents related to diploma are send to Wes , how many years of education equivalent to canada do they give?

First of all WES will evaluate if your diploma is Full-Time course and secondly it is from recognized university/board.

I have done Diploma in Industrial Electronics (3 year full-time) from Maharashtra State Board >> WES evaluated it as Diploma 2 years.

yes, just registering in e-filing portal and submitting documents

I have also done BE in Computer Engineering. so combined both I got 128 out of 150 in education part.

Before registering >> make sure you got all documents in hand.

Once you register then you got only 14 days to submit your profile to OINP.

Though your NOI is valid for 6 months. So better to get all documents in hand and only then proceed with registration.

Hi Friends,

I am just writing to express my grief on account of the hard luck I have had in regards to IELTS.

First, I appeared on 8th April and scored 7.5 in all sections. I appeared again on 13th May just to improve my Listening by 0.5, got my results today at Listening 8, Reading 6.5, Speaking 8, Writing 7.5.

I know there are many cases similar to mine, but I am feeling terribly depressed.

CRS currently at 384, will get spouse ECA done and can rise upto 392. I hope it comes down to 380 soon.

dont worry buddy i am in the same boat.today morning got my IELTS result. check my signature. .5 could have took me to 423. n worst thing is i will loose 5 points tomorrow because of my birthday.

Hi Guys, we all r expecting draw at end of this month of May. I just checked previous draw, there are max 3 draw a month in this year. So in this month of May we already had 3 draws (4, 12, 17). So do you think new draw will be in this month itself? I now think it will be first week of June before new changes. Also do you expect CRS to decrease? M at 406

There was no draw on the 12th. Only on 4th and 17th. So there is still very high hope and chance for the 31st

Basically WES evaluated my 3 year full-time diploma as >> Diploma 2 years

So you have to select two year post secondary...

Ya, and reading has been the spoiler for me too. i wrote thrice LRWS(6/7.5/7/7.5) screwed up one entire section of listening in first attempt. second time 8.5/6.5/6.5/7 and then finally i wanted to make it to clb10 and prepared hard in reading and again missed it (8.5/7.5/7.5/7.5). Irony is i felt i did reading the best in all attempts
