Just a quick question guys, I have been waiting for my citizenship since I applied in July 21, took the test on Sep15, got a ghost update on October 27, and today my Language was completed. only physical presence and prohibition are in progress. my question is, from what I have read so far in this forum, is it something related to the travel document or the travels I have made during the last couple of years? I got travel documents since I was a refugee, I also received my original passport from my back home country when they called me and told me to pick it up, which was expired back then, I also renewed my passport(from back home) I did it via mail since my country does not have an embassy in Canada. do you guys think this is why my prohibition is not completed? I have never used that passport for my travels, always traveld with refugee travel document. I travelled 4 times during the last few years using RTD. thanks a lot and sorry for the long text!

Did you include the information from your renewed passport in your citizenship application? Renewing your home country passport while you are a refugee won't lead to issues with your status, but it could result in additional investigations to determine whether you have travelled to your home country.

I went through my application and just realized I might've forgotten to include it in my application, should it be a problem? I have never used it tho, just renewed it.

There's no need to send it now, as it may raise further concerns. Unless they have inquired about it, you could explain that you forgot to mention it earlier. Please note that this is my opinion, not legal advice.

I received GCMS before the language was completed, where should I look for useful information regarding my application? my language is completed but prohibition and physical presence are still in progress.

I think analyzing your notes is a bit of a mess. You kind of have to read all of it and try to make sense of it. Just read it once (including the events section at the bottom) and then re-read to make sense of it. Events section at the bottom is chronological, so it makes it easier to understand what is going on with your file. Then, as I said, reread the entire thing. Also maybe check your location. I don't think it matters but some speculate E-Grant DF means decision finalized, and there are other abbreviations that might explain the stage your application is in. Lastly, check if there's any section that was redacted, and if you spot one, check the right upper corner of the page, there you'll have something like s.16 or s.21 or something like that. it shows under which law that section was redacted. I'm pretty sure my application was referred to CSIS, and unlike many people I have s.22 in my file which means "22(1)(b) law enforcement and investigation."

After I get my notes from CSIS, I plan on requesting my notes from IRCC again. I requested my notes on Nov 30th, assuming they'll respond before the new year and wont extend my request processing time, I should receive it in 15 days. I'll let you guys know if there's anything useful in my notes, and if there's I'll request new notes from IRCC.

thanks a lot for the explanation, it worked a lot. I just realized something, in the notes, it says prohibition eligibility status is completed, does it mean the prohibition should be completed in my tracker or it is not relevant? fyi, in my racker, my language was completed yesterday, but prohibitin and physical presence are in progress.
