I see… cuz I contacted my MP once the processing times changed to 8 months, and her reply was basically that IRCC deemed my application non-routine and therefore published processing times don’t apply to my application. idk if my application is actually non-routine or was it just to shut me up

For refugees, the 3rd party agency could be the country/s you travelled to after you became a protected person. That’s just my guess. But again, some refugees are on DF and they never left canada… no one really knows.

No I mean actual notes in your atip. Like note #1, note #2 etc. if you have any new notes that are added then your current location might not be grant DF. If no new notes are added then it’s 99% DF they just chose to redact it. Don’t worry about the s(16) they’re irrelevant.

Did you get any new notes or exact same atip as last one but just without DF? If no new notes, your location is most likely still DF but they just redacted it. See also if they’re is any sections such as s(21) on the top right corner of the 3rd page.

With all my due respect, when using RTD, it makes zero sense to me that visiting a neighboring country is more dangerous than visiting your own country (country of persecution). I do agree tho that both are red flags.

I travelled to a neighboring country of the country I claimed asylum from but I used my RTD. This could be the reason why my application was flagged derogatory!
