i have an issue with my years of employment

jun 2011 - apr 2013 - 1st company = 20 mos
jun 2014 - mar 2015 - 2nd company = 9 mos
May 2015 - mar 2016 - 3rd company = 10 mos

Toal 39 months or 3.25 years

Noc 4214

How many years of work experience can i claim? I was told by my consultant that the 2nd and 3rd do not accumulate to claim 3 yrs more.

Does all of them fall under the same NOC? If yes, then you can claim the points collectively as 3 years and more experience.

If not, then you need atleast one year of work ex in the NOC that you want to apply for.

NOCs should match with the company's reference letters.

Yes the same NOC for all of the work experiences as preschool teacher. I am confused because my consultants told me i can only claim three years more if i have 12 months on the second and third work. I was also told that the 20months for my first job is counted as just one full year?

Its strange how these 'consultants' are so uninformed and stupid. But if its the same NOC it doesn't matter how many months you have worked for how many different companies. You can club all that and make it count. Yes, you will need to declare each one of them and get Ref Letter + Pay Stubs etc from each one of them to prove it.

I have Worked from July 2012 to May 2014 in one company under the same NOC Code, outside Canada. Do I enter work experience as One or two-three in the Come to Canada tool?

Get a new consultant. Even better, just do it yourself and save money and potential issues.
