Wrong name printed on DD of 550$? Please advise

I have made a 550$ draft in favor of RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA... but I just checked on cic website its written the draft needs to be made in favor of THE RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA

is there any difference? do i need to make the draft again?

Its not a big difference dont worry, you dont need to get a new one this will be fine.

Don't get panic, infact i also prepared named as "RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA" and NOT "THE RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA"

I double checked with my agent and banker they said: Its fine irrespective 'THE' is mentioned or not

Do you mean CIO, Sydney (Application Fees) or CHC (RPRF at Visa Office)?
Because drafts & denominations are totally different.

I asked the question because draft amounts differe between CHC and CIO
If it is for CHC the draft amount should be CAD 490
If it is for CIO draft amount should be CAD 550

So if you have sent app to CIO and draft is for CAD 550 and in name of "Receiver General for Canada.” it is perfect

But if it is for CHC then your draft will be returned
