wrong name on permit!

Soo... I changed my surname recently (from a surname-surname to just surname, so dropped the hyphen), got a new passport, and applied for a work permit extension with the new passport, but from an online my cic account and with the UCI that had my old name. I attached a letter of explanation that I changed my name, etc. They approved the application and extended my permit, which is now assigned to my new passport with my new surname, but the name on the permit is still surname-surname! did anyone have a situation like that? I imagine there might be problems on the border? do you have any ideas why that happened? and how can I fix it? what confusion! now I have half documents for the old and half (including my passport!) for the new :/ what do you think I should do?

I think you have to call cic or visit any visa office center they will help you

They will put new sticker on your passport with your new name
