Wrong marriage date in my approved but now expired Canada tourist visa application form

I had a visa which already expired in 2022. At that time I applied alone without my wife and daughter, and no need to submit marriage certificate, I just submitted marriage date in the application form. After my visa had expired, I tried to renew my visa but I noticed that I had submitted wrong marriage date in my old visa application form. Now I want to apply a new tourist visa by creating a group with my wife. In that case we need to submit our marriage certificate. In the immigration website it says that expired temporary resident documents are historical records and would not be amended. What should I do? Should I notify the immigration office about the incident for the record?

Submit a webform with an LOE explaining your situation. I'm sure it would be alright as long as you inform IRCC!
