Hi Guys!
I was looking for some suggestions on my issue below. It is quite complex and hard to understand, i tried to explain this best way possible. (Step 1 is Sponsoring process and Step 2 is the process after sponsorship is approved)

Step 1. We sponsored our parents in 2010, which has already been approved. This application has a specific Date of Birth for Primary Applicant.

Step 2. Recently we send IMM 0008 and other relevant forms. This application has different Date of Birth for Primary Applicant, from sponsorship form(Step 1).

(Primary Applicant had to make a new passport. New passport was made prior to Step 1. New passport and old passport has different DOB. While filing sponsorship form (Step 1), we used DOB of old passport and in Step 2 we filed with DOB of New passport)

We already received a letter form CPC, that our application is complete (Step 2). However,it is not being processed yet.

I am really confused what to do in this case. I am planning to write a letter to CIC, Explaining eveything.

Guys, please suggest me something.

Thanks in Advance!!!

hmm sending a letter might delay your case, then again being honest is the best possibility; how couldn't they have cached yet.

yea you can write them a letter explaining the situation and make sure you reference your file no.

Thanks sohaib1 for your Reply.
Yes i am also wondering, why they have not caught it Yet.
They should not have send me a letter telling the application is complete. Instead they should have asked me some sort of explanation or something.
I will schedule a time with an immigration lawyer and lets see how it goes.

These things are much more common that you might think.

For my application, between three people (spouse, step-daughter, birth father), there were 8 errors on their documents (name spellings, missing middle names, town of birth, date of birth). We sorted it all before we applied, but it just goes to show that the government only looks as far as the evidence provided.
