Hi guys,

I'm quite a moron as I didn't mention the right employment dates in my EE profile. Almost all of them don't match the reality by one year.

I've received an ITA a few weeks ago and just realised that mistake while looking at the letters sent by my previous bosses

I still can prove that I have over 3 yrs of foreign qualified work experience. But the dates won't match.

Should I decline the ITA?

Cheers and many thanks

What is your CRS? Well if you got the ITA, you would get it again. Ideally you should submit the profile with correct details. On the other hand, somebody else lost an opportunity for your fault :D

I would suggest you withdraw and take the next ITA.

I have all the points. I deserve them all I just made mistakes on the dates but can prove all the experience mentioned.
I have 471. I won't get the next ITA. It'll take a few weeks before the cut off scores are low again

Anyone can make a mistake. And I understand your dilemma right now because scores will likely remain high in the next few draws... we don't know for sure yet. If you are absolutely sure your score will not change, you could still apply and include a letter of explanation.

Thank you for your kind reply. I will still apply and write a letter and hope for the best.

Thank you!

I had one date of employment wrong- I had put in my initial EE profile that I left a job in November of 2015, when in reality I left almost 2 weeks later, in early December of 2015. I was assured by others here that since it didn't have any impact on my score, I could just correct it in the application and write an LOE explaining the discrepancy. Hopefully you can do the same, though I'm not sure how it would look if all of the employment dates had been wrong. Just make sure the dates in the application absolutely match the dates in your reference letters.

Hello,

I realized that in my EE profile I forgot to mention about my current employer(I am working with the current employer at the time I submitted my profile). But in my ITA application I planning to mention my experience with the current employer. I have experience letter from the current employer.

To explain it in a better way:
EE profile:

company NOC Code Start Date End Date
XXXXX 2171 05/2014 Present

ITA Application:

company NOC Code Start Date End Date
XXXXX 2171 05/2014 10/2016
YYYYY 2171 10/2016 Present

Would it be a problem even though job at the both employees will have the same NOC code? Please suggest me on how to proceed in this situation.

Thanks!
