Wrong date of Birth

Hello everyone,
I am about to sponsor my spouse however her birthday is different on her birth certificate and her passport ( school leaving certificate was used for passport).
Now the sponsorship documents require the birth certificate. Does anyone know what can be done in this case of anyone has idea? I was advised to get affidavit. But I’m not sure what exactly I have to write and mention in affidavit ?
if anyone has gone through same situation or have any idea in regards to this , any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

It's better to find out what is her REAL birthday and fix documents that's not reflecting the correct information.
It sounds like may be she needs to get her passport corrected. I don't know the process to do so in her country.

An affidavit may be a temporary solution. (to state that what is her actual birthday and a certain identification has incorrect brithday)
