Hey, I am a new PR who settled in Canada in late October.

Have been looking for a job for 2-3 weeks, but no luck. Not a single interview.

I wonder if I should put "Permanent Resident" in my resume? Does it increase the chance of interview? Or does this decrease the chance of interview?

Anyone with a hard time looking for a job when newly arrived at Canada?

No. You don't need to put PR in your resume. Your nationality/citizenship/PR status is not part of something you needed to disclose on your resume.
Important thing is that you can work in Canada legally. 2 -3 weeks is not a very long time for job search.

Depending on what type of job you are looking for. And Dec is not a good time for company to hire new employees.
Except for casual jobs to fill the busy shopping weeks before the holidays.
