WP-EXT for PGWP letter, is it normal? Please help.

I applied for PGWP recently. I got this letter today. It states

This confirms that your application has been received by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) on ________(yyyy/mm/dd)
Please attach this letter to your present Study permit Number _______ as proof that you are authorized to work for any employer, in any occupation with no restriction on hours until ________ or until a decision is made on your application, whichever is first. This period of work is authorized as per subsection 186(w) of the Immigration and Refugees Protection Regulations.

The first blank is the date I applied. The second one is my SP document number. The last one is 4 months after the application date. I'll start work after five days of the third blank. What if my PGWP can't be approved until that date?

I saw most people in this forum only got this letter when they apply for BOWP. I am wondering if it is normal to receive this letter when applying for PGWP. Thank you!

I applied on 15 March I asked someone they said it’s normal you will get before that date

It’s the first time I apply for a PGWP

March 16th. Did not applied for restoration or extension. It’s my first time to apply PGWP after the study permit.

I did too! The ircc agent sent me a proof for employers through email and told me I can work without that date limitation!

Yes. I got it on April 12.

Thanks for the reply. Is this letter normal because many students from my class did not receive it. Could you please share the timeline?

It can go either way. The letter is random. It might be related to the expiration date of your study permit. I graduated in early 2021 and my study permit expires in August 2021.
I submitted it in mid-March and it was approved in mid-April.

Hello , I have applied for ,my work permit on 7th May i have still not received this letter. However everyone else who applied with me got the letter. Is there anything to worry about?
