WP expires withing 1 week and flying to US

Hello Seniors,

My current open work permit is expiring on 11th June, 2017 and I am flying to US on 2nd June for business trip.

Would that be a problem..? Can I travel to USA, however I already applied for my BOQP and PR but there is no update yet.

Please advice.
