Just curious.
Anyone from India who has applied for Work Permit in the recent months ? I've been surfing the forum for a while and can't seem to find any Work Permit application related thread for 2016 for Indian applicants.
If you're from India, have applied and are waiting/got your visa already, could you please share your timeline ?

I've been following he processing times on the CIC website and last week it changed from 2 months to 1 month. Not sure if the VOs really follow the trend.

Yeah, It's showing the same here too. Applied just a week after yours. Is your application being processed at the Bangalore Embassy ?
Please do post an update in case you hear anything soon. And, did you submit Upfront medicals ?

Applied on 3rd March under business express program. Yet to receive my visa. Normally it takes only 3-4 weeks under BEP.

Please note that the processing time varies for different cases.

For example, when I apply for a work permit in China, and I am LMIA-exempt, short-term, ..., so it just requires about a week to complete.

While the suggested processing time is about 2 months.

i hv applied wp on 1 jan 16 here in dubai. now after 3 moths i didnt get any news from cic here processing time is 7 mnths

Ya mine is a bit different case. I applied for nomination when i was in alberta,Canada. The application process took so long mean while my work permit got expired so i had to move back to India. They gave nomination in January but not sure whether i will get the work permit again.

No update yet on the BEP ICT application. Anyone know what time of the day the VFS tracking number is updated? Would save me the agony of checking multiple times a day.
