For the past five years, I had been outside of Canada for 3.5 years.
But I was able to enter Canada before my PR card expires, so now I am living and working in Canada.
But I know that my PR could be taken away if immigration officers open up my file, because I didn't meet the residential obligation.
I have a fiance that I have been away for a while, and I really want to invite him here. But I am afraid to sponsor him as my spouse, because of my unstable PR status.
So I just want my fiance to come with visitor visa.
What I am wondering is- would the visa office (or Canadian embassy) assess my PR status if I send an invitation letter for my fiance?
