Would airline allow to check in for return flight even though I don’t have pr card or prtd

so I did my landing and waiting for my pr card. Need to travel for a few days to Mexico, and I do not have a travel document to return by air.

I can simply purchase a ticket from Mexico to buffalo and then come back via land border, but Would I be denied check in When I am trying to board the flight from Toronto to Mexico??

Please help not sure about this.

1/ Nope you could board the outbound flight as long as you are admissible to Mexico, whether you require a visa for you country of citizenship.
