Hey everyone,

I am starting to get worried about my p.r. application. I haven't heard anything back from them and the last time I resent it in was in like September (I think). It was pretty much a long while ago. I cant get a hold of them by phone because they don't have a phone for u.s. citizens to call them. Tried to get my boyfriend to call them but that didn't work out so well because they wanted some file number of some sort.

We didn't get an email because my boyfriend filed his papers wrong giving them the wrong email address. So I am starting to really get worried that he was refused sponsorship and I might not be able to get a refund for the rest of it because he couldn't get his email address right. Its passed the one year mark with my medical record also which is also in the back of my mind.

Does anyone know an email I can use to get ahold of these people. Service Canada said there was one but they never gave it to me.

or you can ask your family to call CIC for you and ask about that.

Can you give us more details, are you inland or outland and what visa office your exact timelines

to reach CIC outside of Canada you can follow: Try 613-944-4000 (for an agent: options 1,2,1,2,1 ... then 0 to skip the message) Thats the only way to reach the CIC if your outside of Canada.
Its best to call between 8-9 AM when the call volumes are low.

Thanks drax. I dont seem able to even get passed the first part XD. The menu has been modified does this count s hat it is suppose to be?

I am not sure if they have changed the menu but call the number and listen for Citizenship and Immigration Canada.
So you applied in Sept for an outland US application right?

That is the number, but those are not the prompts to follow. Just listen to the menu and keep following the prompts for CIC and then once your in CIC follow the prompts for Family Sponsorship.
