Workpermit moving to canada and spouse post graduation in Canada

Hello All,

Kindly help me in below situation

I am moving to Canada on workpermit from US (H1B) and my spouse will be accompanying me as a dependent, One of the reason why we are moving is that my spouse wanted to continue her further education which was difficult in US.

now my question,

Can my spouse study a PG course while i am in workpermit ?

If yes, what are the requirements ?

Incase she joins the college and after one year if my project/job is over and i need to move back to home country then what happens to my spouse course ?

Kindly help me to take a decision ?

Your spouse needs to apply for a study permit. This is completely independent of your work permit.

I heard there is open work permit for spouse where she can study on open work permit, is that true ?

No. The only studies she could take here on a work permit would be a program that is less than 6 months.
