Workpermit expire while PR is on process

I just want to know if what will happen to my sister's application for permanent residence since her contract will expire on June 10, 2010. Her employer will not recontract her since their new nanny will be arriving before 10th of June. Any advice for her to do...please!!!!

PR timeline:
send - December 8, 2009
CIC received - December 10, 2009
Start processing - February 25, 2010 until now there it is still on process

She can look for another employer now and apply for a new WP (a bit tight). Can't she ask her employer to have her for a few more months just till she get her OWP, because if she sends a renewal of the WP now she'd be on implied status. Considering that the first stage processing is about 6-7 months, she may have her AIP/OWP by June or July barring any unforeseen delays.

By the way Jobseeker, can my sister apply for the bridge extension since her employers' nanny will be arriving on the first week of June. Her employer can't change her mind as her nanny has booked her ticket already. What do you think brigde extension or restoration of status? Thanks
