Hello,

I wanted to know if anyone had insight on my case since I can't find a clear answer on the cic website pages.

Basically, I finished my studies in Montréal late december 2021, with my Student permit expiring in the 31st December 2021.

I received my diploma papers on the 23rd January 2022, and started the procedure to obtain a PGWP which I am still waiting for.

My question is then, am I allowed to work full time (I already have a work offer)? If so, can I use the SIN that I was assigned for my studies?

Thanks in advance.

When you talk about starting the 'procedure', have you already applied for the PGWP? If no, then the last date by which you must apply is 30 June 2022.
If you have applied then you have continued status, which means you can work full time until you receive a decision.
You can use the SIN even if it has expired. Just apply for updating the new expiry date for the SIN once you get your actual WP from IRCC via mail. You can't apply for extension of your SIN until and unless you receive your WP.
Hope this answers your question.

Hello,
Yes I have already applied for the PGWP.
Thanks very much for the insight, the rules seemed to be quite unclear when I tried looking at them.
