Working remotely as a PR in Canada for a foreign company

Hello,

Is it legally possible to work remotely in Canada for a foreign company (french)?
This would last for 1 or two months before the Canadian branch offers me a Canadian contract.

it gives me the impression it's definitely possible.
Anybody in the same situation as me? Thanks in advance!

I might work remotely while waiting for the PR card and maybe a few weeks after I receive the PR card.
The parent company has offices in Ontario but I won't be employed by them at the beginning, I will be employed by the french branch and work from Ontario. Is this an issue? Thank you!

As a PR, you can work for whoever you want in Canada. Doesn't matter if it's a Canadian office or a foreign office.
