Hi
i want to clear my doubt regarding working in canada
As an international student i can work 20 hours a week but I came to canada 1.5 months prior to starting date of my study in centennial college
I got my SIN numher from service canada
So can i work before starting of my college
As I got my SIN number
Hope experts clear my doubt

No, you can't. It will be an illegal work as it is before the start of your classes. Wait until your classes start, then you can work. You also have to bring enough money to cover your living expenses. Good Luck!

As per IRCC:
You may work off-campus without a work permit if you:
  • have a valid study permit
  • are a full-time student at a designated learning institution (DLI)
  • have started studying
  • are in a program that leads to a degree, diploma or certificate and is at least six months long and
  • have a Social Insurance Number (SIN)

As said above, the answer is no. It's illegal to work before your classes begin. Don't do it. CIC has started taking a very hard line on illegal work recently and we've seen several cases where PGWPs have been refused as a result of illegal work.
