Hi All,

Currently i am working in USA from last 4 years and seems like i dont get extention anymore. Can i apply for Permanent Residency in Canada? I am I eligible? If yes under what category can i apply. Please let me know, this would help me to a great extent and plan accordingly.

Thanks in advance.

Canada's immigration programs are listed here:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/apply.asp

You will have to research each to see if you qualify to apply. If you don't have time or don't feel comfortable doing this research yourself, then I would recommend you hire an immigration lawyer or consultant to assist you.

There is no special immigration program for people who are working in the US.

you can most probably apply for Federal Skills worker program, see the details here: cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/

you would need to have 67 points to become eligible(based on english, education, experience, age, employment and adaptability), see points details here: cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp
