Wow, absolutely amazing. I do know of a case of someone being here illegally, getting welfare with his now wife, just months after being fired from a farm work program, and then was caught, and managed to bypass the deportation because he is married to a Canadian and they have filed for PR. This kills me, we all jump through the hoops to be with loved ones, and these people work illegally and can use that "experience" to gain PR...

I don't think I'd chance it. It's not like it's a forever thing to be without work and I know it can be a bit of a bore to have nothing to do and finances are tight, but I dunno...seems too risky to me and when you think about how much you go through to complete this process I can't understand why anyone would do this. JMHO. :)
