Working full-time during break

Hi,

Can an existing international student work full-time during the time when no course is available at the University?

If the student has to wait till the courses are available to register, can it considered as break time.

No only official breaks in the program are considered breaks.

IRCC gives authority to the institutions to define what a Scheduled break is. Your should ask your particular college/university what their policy is.

Are you a masters/phd student at SFU?

Honestly its the first time I am seeing this definition and it would be better to find an ircc source but I think SFU probably knows what they are talking about so talk to their international advisors.
