Working for US company on Canadian OWP

Hello Everyone,

I am currently in Canada on OWP and my husband is a PR. I have a job offer from a US company and they want me to work from home as they dont have office here and they want to use my home address as a product return address.

I would really appreciate if you may help me to get some answers to the below questions?

1. Is it legal to work for a US firm from Canada if I have an Open Work permit?
2. Can they use my address for returning products from the customers.

2. Don't about that. That is different than you working remotely. That is the US company essentially operating in Canada.

They are selling their product online in canada through canadian website (operation not yet started) they are in expansion mode. And they want someone to handle their shipping and for that reason they need address. Furthermore, they will pay in USD.

Is it OK to work ? Please suggest.
