Working during open work permit application is in process

Dear Members,
I have applied for bridging open work permit , my current one is closed work permit and is valid upto may 2013.

Can i change the employer as my open work permit is under process? am I in Implied status?

Please let me know your thoughts and inputs.

"implied status" means that your previous (closed) work permit has already expired, but because your new work permit application is in process, you are permitted to continue working under the same conditions of your previous work permit.

So no, you cannot change employers as you are still on your closed work permit.
