Work while studying course?

Hi All,
I am thinking of opting for a Post Graduate Course in Canada. i am an international student. i got two questions which are:

Are international students eligible for Student visa for Continuing Studies?

Can an international student work and earn living expenses while on study visa??

You can apply for an off-campus work permit (which allows you to work up to 20 hours per week) after you have been studying for 6 months FT in canada. The permit has other conditions to:

Thanks for ur reply. Well there r some certification programs which r listed as 'Continuing Studies' on the various colg websites. That is what even ii did not get.
