I graduated from a Masters Program and was eligible for a 3 years work permit but got 2 years instead. I applied for PNP along with my wife. I was expecting the application to be processed faster as promised but it has taken longer than expected. Now my work permit is expiring in less than three months. I would like to renew my work permit and visa. For Visa, I think I do not need to worry because i have USA visa and if I need to enter Canada, I can enter via USA, through work permit.
I have four options to renew my work visa
1) Show that I am self employed
2) Extension on basis that I am eligible for 3 years work visa
3) Apply for Bridge Visa
4) Get letter of support through PNP
Also I am thinking of applying for visa for my wife because I am not sure when my residency status will complete. Is it better to invite her on Visit visa or spouse visa ?
Please advise ?
