Hi,

I am in Nova Scotia. I have a question for you. I am very confused regarding the work on contract. It would be very appreciated if you help me with this concern.

My question is:
1) As an international student, how many hours can i work with uber or skip the dishes or doordash? They pay according to trip not as hour wage. So, how can i know that i have reached upto my limit if there is any limit of work with these food delivering business?

2) Can i work on contract during my studies? Not on a payroll. I am asking about the contract, like i give my services on a contract basis. For the payroll i will get T4 at the end of fiscal year and for contact do i get T4-A at the end of the year?
Is there any limit of work under T4-A for student?

1. You can work up to 20 hours a week. You should keep track of what times you start and stop working.
2. See above. The contractual arrangements don't matter. What matters is you need to make sure you do not work more than 20 hours a week.
