I just found out yesterday that the conditions for the minimum work hours under the CEC program are supposed to change near the end of 2012.
I am currently living in Alberta under a Working Holiday visa.
When I first moved here I was working as a framer-carpenter for about 3 months so I have about 500 hours in that trade already.
I got laid off because my company ran out of work and just worked a couple of labour jobs till I started with my recent company as a landscaper for the past month.
My boss is willing to give me a job offer so I can apply for a new visa under the the young professionals category at the end of the year.
Is it possible to sum those hours even though its two different trades?
If not it might be smarter to get back into framing so I have my hours full earlier and can go for the PR application.
Would really appreciate help with this.
