You must start by being accepted into a full time university or college program in Canada. Then you would apply for a study permit. To be approved, your planned studies in Canada must make sense in light of your previous education and experience. You must also demonstrate that you have at least $25,000 in funds to pay for your tuition and living expenses in Canada. Once you have started your studies in Canada, you will be able to work up to 20 hours per week off campus.
