I am not sure if this question was raised before, I couldn’t find the answer on this forum.
So, the issue is this: because my manager doesn’t know English,I would like to create a reference letter myself (based on the duties I actually done - and agreed with my manager). The company letterhead and manager’s contact information - all are in English. If I will write in LOE that my manager speaks only local language, will that be an issue, because letter is in English?
Or should I create it in local language and use certified translator to translate it to English? The reason I don’t want to use translator is that they may translate it in a different way, because some job duties are industry specific and not all translators understand it.
