Work permit without a University degree?

Currently living outside Canada.
I recently got a really good job offer from a global, US headquartered, software giant in Toronto as a mid level software engineer.
This company has said that they will take care of processing the visa and also help me with relocation once I accept the offer.
I don't have a University degree, but I have in total 8 years of experience as a software engineer.
Does this make me not eligible for immigration?
