Work Permit while waiting

Hi Guys and Gals,

I have my SNIP Nomination and have sent off my Meds and Police certs to CIC London for my PLR. Would any of you know if I can get a Temporay Work Permit to go to Canada while I'm waiting for my PLR descision?
