Hi there!
I applied for work permit and sponsorship application inside Canada 2 months ago and I do not have any request yet. We sent the documents via mail but do not have a confirmation of our application. We do not know if our documents are arrived or if we have problems with them.
Do you know why is taking so long? I was expecting to get my work permit soon but it seems to me that it is just a dream )

Work permits take around 4 months on average to receive and it sounds like you're still just within normal timelines for acknowledgment. Sit tight

Hi

It can take a few months to hear anything and the OWP can take 4 months or more. You should have mailed it with tracking.

Work permit pressing time is around 4 months from what I've read so your timeline is still normal.

You say you dont know if the documents even arrived.. How did you send your app? If it was tracked mail or courier you will be able to get a proof of delivery from the postal service or courier. That would tell you when it was delivered and who signed for it.

It's not possible to apply online. Your only option was to mail the application in.

With respect to sponsorship you can't apply online, it has to be by mail, so don't beat yourself up over that part.
