Any way of checking on progress, I applied on May 12th and along with PR. All my peers have work visas and I have nothing so I guess my application is under a different stream, and taking much longer :-(

On what basis did you apply to restore to a work permit? How have you applied for PR? This influences how the application is processed and the answer.

Nothing yet, although still my PR application seems to be progressing. I can't get through to IRCC helpline.

Have you ordered your GCMS notes to try to see what's happening?

I got PR portal invite on 4th October and work visa restored in 16th September. So 5-6 months for restoration.
