Work permit renewal

As my work permit runs out in Jan 2009, my employer has applied to extend the LMO, and I have applied to renew work permit, How would I expect to receive the new one, by mail? or would I need to visit port of entry at some point? like I did in the first instance. these forms went to the London mission. as that's where my Pr app is currently being processed

You don't need to go to the border to extend work permit, only if you change to a new employer.

You and your employer can sign a new contract now and you can then send the application to CPC-V as it takes more than 4 months to renew for same employer. You need to attach a letter from your employer too indicating that s/he still need your services.
