Work permit query

Hi, I am neha afroz. I am an international student I am studying in Red River college so my course will be completed by the starting of may. I need to apply for work permit that will be for 3 year as I have 2 years course but my passport will be expired in the end of june so because of covid 19 I cannot send my passport to renew what should I do? Can I apply for work permit? Please reply me as soon as possible

Work permit has nothing to do with passport. You are confused with work visa.
