Work permit processing - in only one month?? Feedback please!

Hello guys. I have been trying to figure this out but no one could still answer.

On CIC website it now shows that it takes only 1 month to process a work permit application. Can anyone confirm if that's true??

If I look at processing times it shows 144 days for extension with same employer and new employer.
And for work permit application ( not extension but first permit ) from within canada it is 3 months

Hi Sandra, thank you for the reply. Would you mind telling when did you apply? Was it this year? Because the new visa processing structure was introduced only after December 31 last year.

Well all I can say is more than 3 months before cic open up your file, I sent my extension last october and until now I did not hear anything yet. But since I got my permanent resident first I think it doesn not matter anymore even if they refused mine. Good luck mate

Hi Bro. My question is how reliable this information actually is. Hoping to hear from someone who actually applied after last December and got the work permit in a month.

My question arises in mind as just few weeks back I believe, I saw the website said it would take months. Trying to figure out how viable the information is. This is stunningly fast!

It is not about my permit. The times I have given are the ones shown on the cic website
