Work permit process / extension

Hello ...
I land Canada at 8january, and I applied for work permit at Feb 27,.,..3months gone but no replies for that, even agent also saying we can't do anything ..
Can we do extension if work permit is under process , because June last I will complete 6monhts

Yes you need to apply to extend your visitor status. People are not encouraged to arrive on a tourist visa and attempt to find a job. First it is very hard to find employers who want to go through the time and expense of trying to hire a foreign national. Did the employer get an LMIA ? That is the first step necessary. The fact that you are dealing with an agent is also concerning. Hopefully you have not paid for a job in Canada.
