Im working as food service supervisor here in Alberta. My work permit was approved last march 10, 2016 but the company was sold
after 2 months. My work permit is valid until march next year but, basically my work end as the new owner taking the place. As much the new owner want me to stay but they cant do anything about it because i,m just attached to the last owner per say.
Is it possible to appeal to the CIC to apply a new work permit using my old LMIA so that i can stay and still work with the new owner?
Is there any option i would better take?
as per new in owner, they can process LMIA after a year or so.,
any answer is much appreciated.
